Malaid in Malayshhhhhhhhhhh

I cooked on Sunday (February 16, 2014). I made some serious pasta salad. It was good. I cooked intending on having it for about a week, but I finished everything in 3 days. I am a fat ass. Good thing though, I booked my flight to Kuala Lumpur (KL), Malaysia for that weekend. Leah, Jess, Rachel, and I took a flight on Wednesday (February 19, 2014) to KL. We took a night flight with food, and blankets! I loved it! It was nice to be back on the flight again. We got to KL pretty late, so thank god we booked a airport hotel for the night! The bus came to pick us up at the airport, and we got an upgrade to the presidential suite in the hotel! It was really nice! Thanks Leah! We got to sleep on a real bed, not our foam mattress we have in the dorms of Hong Kong. The next morning, we had the hotel buffet breakfast, and we chit chatted about the plan Jess has made for us. A train to the hostel, and we checked in. Our hostel is located right between the food street of KL and the party street. The location was unbeatable. We left our stuff while the hostel gets our room ready, and we went out to see the sites. Our first stop was the Central Market. By the time we came back to the hostel, we were able to get our room, and we took a quick catnap. When we woke up, we went out for dinner! I had a string ray for the first time, and I didn’t regret it! It was really good! We had couple drinks at a little bar across from our hostel and called it a night.
The next morning, we took a stroll to the butterfly garden. It was pretty and nice to see butterflies fly about everywhere. Jess freaked out because of the bug museum that was displayed after the butterflies. I found it quiet cool to see all the beetles and insects. It was hot in KL. Just freaking hot! I was burning up! We walked sort of aimlessly through the streets of KL, and we went walked into a nice museum, which had some really interesting temple models and arts. Some more aimless walking later, we managed to get ourselves into some really form fitting purple robes and got into a temple! It was nice and cool actually at the temple. The breeze really helped out. It was just funny seeing our robes float about! More things to do!
The main attraction of KL is the Patronas Twin Towers; you can see them from anywhere in the city. We decided it was too risky to try to go up the tower because it might be too busy, so we went to the KL Observatory Tower to get a better look! It was an adventure getting there. The park you can walk through was closed for some technical difficulties… I’m like how can a park have technical difficulties? We had to walk all the way around the park till we got to the shuttle stop for the tower. We paid our fee, and off to the top we went. It was a clear day and you can see the bright towers lighting up the city. KL is a pretty city I must say. Once we were done, the rain came and poured itself on KL. We took a cab back to the hostel and the rain was over. A quick drizzle and it was over. Another wonderful dinner later and it is time to party. We went to a gay bar that night with couple stranger we met in another bar. They kept showing us a good ass time! We went to three different bars with them, and we drank our little hearts out! Came back home and passed out.
We intended on waking up early to go the Batu Cave, but we slept in… By around 1pm, we started our journey to the cave, and it was hot as hell… We would have to climb 300 steps today. Hot flash alert! After seeing the very interesting cave, and being almost attacked by wild monkeys. We were done, and we were on the train back home. Leah, Jess, Rachel, and I had our final dinner in KL and called it an early night.

The next morning, we were up and ready to go back home! Short but sweet little trip!
