Another Week in Korea, and Another Week Behind...

After Saturday night / Sunday morning of drinking, I woke up and headed down to Yangsan for my holidays! It’s going to fantastic! A week off of school and I get to be with my family and later, my friends are coming to Busan, and we are going to party here! Sounds like a good week and it was!
I hopped on the KTX (Korea’s express train connecting Busan and Seoul). I got to Yangsan, and enjoyed a lovely meal with my aunt, mom, and sister. We had sushi! The next day my sister took me to a huge shopping area in Busan! I swear all Koreans do is shop! All Asians do is shop! But it was great> I got a shirt to wear to a wedding, and my sister got shoes and dresses. By the time we were done, we were exhausted.
We called it a night early because we got defaulted into helping with my cousin’s engagement photos. I didn’t mind it so much. It kinda reminded me of my photography days. I just hated the fact that I had to get up at 6:30 in the morning, but I slept at the studio so I was fine! My sister and I really didn’t do anything… we just hung out by ourselves; we photobombed other couples here and there. Haha. After the photoshoot, my sister and mommy headed to my hometown to see family; I stayed back and went to do some night beach! I love night beach! I went to see my friends coming in from Seoul! I wasn’t aware of how late they were going to be, so I waited for awhile, but being by myself at night on the beach made me really think a lot about how good my life was!! I saw them and headed back home!
The next day, which was Wednesday (September 18, 2013), I went down to see my friends in Busan again! I saw them at the beach, and we enjoyed some good seafood! We hung out and next thing you, it was nighttime, and we needed to drink and dance! And that’s exactly what we did! We danced and danced and drank and drank some more! When we were done, we all felt gross and sticky, so we took a dip in the beach (clothing optional). After our little dip, I was going to head over to a Jimjilbong to sleep, so the group followed me there and we spent the night!
Next thing I know, I am awake and headed over to a bus station where I can get my ticket to Masan for the Chusok Holiday! I got there in the morning, and from there on out, it was just food, food, food, food, and more food! All of my Extended family came, and enjoyed a lovely meal and each other’s company!
I spent the night there, and waited for round two of the family gathering. More people came and we enjoyed hardy lunch. A nap later, I headed back to Busan to see my friends and hit up a club!
Club Hive was all right!! Good music and I danced my a$$ off! Saturday morning, I came back home without a shower or sleep and passed out back in Yangsan. I waited for my mom and sister to get back home to Masan. The rest of my family, mom, and sister came back to Yangsan! After a light lunch a coffee, my cousins, cousin’s fiancĂ©, sister and I went to Busan for a little shopping adventure! We bought me a tie, and my sister a dress!
After a little bit of shopping, we headed to the beach where we enjoyed a lovely meal of cooked eel and seashells. We capped the night at home, and we just fell asleep!
Sunday was pretty uneventful. My mom and sister were planning their leave the next day, so I helped them pack and get ready. We enjoyed a great meal at our favorite restaurant, and took a trip around a pretty big temple here in Yangsan! Once we came home, we finalized the luggage and ended the night with chicken and beer! The next morning, I sent my mom and sister home back to Atlanta, and I was on my way back to Seoul. It was sad, but I know in 9 short months, I will be back home!
Sorry the blog is getting later and later….
I’m surprised I remember all this shit!!

So Behind... Here is a Blog from a Month Ago

I came back to realty after the wonderful weekend in Jeju Island. Classes and homework started, and I don’t have books for class. You might ask, "Can Young really focus in school?". I'd say, "NO". I go to class don't get me wrong, but I'm just a zombie in there.
The week really picked up on Wednesday (September 11, 2013) when Yujin, Anthony, Kenny, and I went to see the Yonsei University’s production of RENT. The show was fantastic, and I loved every minute of it! It was all in Korean, the music, script, and everything. (BTW Angel was fantastic)
Thursday, the next day, was crazy! It was Catherine birthday, so we dressed in our finest gear and headed for Club Mass in Gangnam! We did it Gangnam style… (Sorry bad joke) We went nuts; we were shit-faced. As always, the birthday girl threw up and blacked out. From what I recall, She made it to about 1:30am. The mommas, Shimays and I, took her back home in the pouring rain. From the cab to the dorm, Shimay and I ran into Kyle, Adrian, and Michal, so we dropped the birthday girl at home, and we headed out to GS25 to get rid of the dance fever hunger, so dumplings and ramens for days! Next thing I know, its 6am.
The next day was pretty boring, but by night, we all revived and got together for a nice dinner at a Korean BBQ buffet. They have unlimited BBQ! We had a lovely birthday meal for Catherine and Francise (both birthday girl and boy). After dinner, I took my ass to Itaewon to couple bars with a friend, but it was dead, so I came back home.
Saturday, we went to the next level... you thought Thursday was bad, but Saturday was a new game because it was also Francis’s birthday! It was only natural that we go INSANE for both birthdays and it’s a Saturday! We hit up Hongdae, and like the usual we drank and drank AND DRANK at the park. Like always there are people on people there, and we are talking to people and each other! (Do I remember these people? Questionable.) After a sufficient amount of drinking, it was time to dance and twerk, so we walk over to Iron (teen club but we didn’t know it at the time). We got on the stage and poles baby. A reoccurring event in our club life is that we tend to be gravitated towards the stage and pole. I did my one pole trick, and next thing I know, spotlight. Needless to say,we gave that club life! Strangely, Club Iron did not sell alcohol. I don't know why we think we need more, but we did. We stepped out of the club to solve this problem and linked the lack of sell of alcohol to the fact that this club is actually a teen club... I swear there is an emojicon for this...
While we were out, we enjoyed a nice midnight snack, and the birthday boy waved his flag, and he was transported home. For the rest of us, 2am seemed too early to call it quits, so we moved to another club called Super 7. After all the dancing was done, Sheimay, Isa, and I took a cab to Sinchon where we met up with some of the boys for food.

We were walking back home with the mission to make it back to the dorms before sunrise; it was close, but we won.
